What is coaching?

As a coach I will help unlock your unlimited potential, empower and guide you from where you are now to where you would like to be. I will raise your self-awareness, challenge and change the limiting beliefs that hold you back, help you believe in yourself, listen in a non-judgemental way and support you to make decisions and take action on your personal and professional life goals. If you want to change in order to achieve the life you have always dreamed of, connect to the “True You” and discover lasting fulfilment and happiness, then coaching is for you.

As a coach I believe my clients have all the answers, they just need help accessing them. Therefore I will not give advice or fix your problems for you; you are in the driving seat and by having the determination and courage to take the agreed action steps through working with me, you will be responsible for creating your own results.

All sessions will be entirely confidential, letting you openly discuss how you feel and what you are thinking. My role means I must be be open, honest and approachable and it is just as important that you too are able to be open and honest with me.

What is coaching not?

Although I am a qualified coach I am not trained to diagnose any psychological conditions.

Coaching is not counselling and rather than re-live what has got you to your current position we will focus on taking you from where you are now to where you want to be in the future.

 

What can coaching help me with?

During our sessions we will discuss what you would like to get out of life, areas you might be unhappy with and where you'd like to see yourself ending up.

Coaching can cover all aspects of your life and if you've ever struggled with anything coaching can help you get unstuck!  Examples of topics discussed at coaching could be:

  • You feel you aren’t reaching your full potential
  • You are feeling unhappy, unfulfilled or stuck in a rut
  • You just aren’t achieving what you’d like to achieve
  • You feel frustrated or that you’re not moving forward
  • You feel like there is more to life but are not sure where to begin
  • You wish you could be confident in a work meeting
  • You wish you could stick to that diet
  • You can’t quite push yourself to make that career move
  • You are desperate to find a real work / life balance
  • You want to achieve that thing that you always say you will do “one day”

Coaching can definitely help move you closer to your dreams.

 

What happens during a coaching session?

As a coach I will ask questions and use coaching models to uncover the real issues and how we can start to move you forward to achieve your goals.

I will challenge you but also celebrate with you as you succeed along the way. The beginning of each session will begin with a review of all your achievements, challenges and progress you have made with your agreed actions since our last session.

During the sessions I will ensure that I devote all of my training and experience, time and effort to ensuring the best session for you. I will believe in you, listen to you and be fully committed to help you achieve success.

In return I would ask that you also be responsible, committed and motivated to taking action and moving forward.

When we agree to proceed we will book our first session and you will carry out some simple exercises for me to learn more about your current situation and where you would like to get to and for us to get to know each other.

The sessions are between 45 and 60 minutes and can take place weekly or fortnightly, whatever suits you and your situation.

 

Can I have coaching face to face, online or by telephone?

I offer face to face coaching (within a certain area) as well as sessions via Skype or telephone.

Skype and telephone coaching can be easier and more convenient for some clients or we could do a combination of telephone and face to face if that suits you.
